The Outdoorsman Sport Shop was established in 1976 with one mission: to bring a high quality hunting shop to the Greenwood area. Our passion for excellence is what inspired us in the beginning and it continues to drive us today. We pride ourselves in the superior experience of shopping in our store and in the long-term relationships we’ve built with our customers over the years. Tired of spinning fish stories? With our complete line of major brand name fishing equipment you can turn stories into reality! Regardless of your skill level and experience, we’ve got the right fishing package for you. And whatever type of fishing you enjoy we’ve got everything you need to reel in the big ones!
Hunting
As hunters we rely on our equipment, the last thing we want is for our equipment to fail us while we are in the field. That is why we carry quality equipment from all the big brands, from coolers to calls, soaps to scent killing ozone machines. Whether you are hunting from a base camp in the mountains, or walking out your backdoor, you need gear you can rely on and we are here to help get you what you need for a successful hunt.
Firearms
We carry a full line of new and used firearms: handguns, rifles, shotguns—even muzzle loaders! Our gun department staff has over 50 years of firearms experience to help you select the firearm that is right for you.
If it’s ammo or accessories you need, you’ve come to the right place—we’ve got ammunition for every gun we carry.
If we do not have a gun in stock, we can order it for you. We also buy guns for resale, come in to our shop and talk with any of our experienced employees at the gun counter for assistance.
Archery
Stop by our Archery Department for all of your hunting needs. We offer a full service archery shop accepting any make or model compound bow, crossbow or recurve bow and can fix most problems “in house” so we can get your equipment back to you in a timely manner.
We also have a 30-yard indoor range and Archery Leagues available. Range hours are the same as store hours but it is recommended to call ahead on evenings and weekends to be sure there is availability.
